About the Program:

The SBIF Asha Scholarship Program 2024 is one of the largest scholarship initiatives in India, spearheaded by the SBI Foundation under its Integrated Learning Mission (ILM) in the education sector. This program is designed to provide financial support to talented students from low-income backgrounds across India, helping them continue their education without financial constraints. It is open to students from Class 6 to 12 and those pursuing undergraduate and postgraduate degrees at the top 100 NIRF-ranked universities/colleges, IITs, or MBA/PGDM programs at IIMs.

Scholarship recipients can receive up to INR 7.5 lakh to aid their educational journey.

Eligibility:

1. Open to Indian nationals.
2. Students must be studying in Class 6 to 12 or pursuing undergraduate/postgraduate courses from the top 100 NIRF-ranked universities/colleges or IITs/IIMs.
3. Must have secured 75% marks or above in the previous academic year.
4. The gross annual family income must be up to ₹6,00,000.
5. 50% of the slots are reserved for female applicants.
6. Preference for SC/ST category students and those with a family income of up to ₹3,00,000 per annum.
