The University of Sheffield is welcoming applications for its International Undergraduate Scholarship 2025, available to international students beginning undergraduate studies in September 2025. The scholarship is awarded automatically to eligible applicants—no separate application is required.
Scholarship Highlights:

- £2,500 for courses in the Faculty of Science, Faculty of Health, and Faculty of Engineering.
- £2,000 for courses in the Faculty of Social Sciences and Faculty of Arts and Humanities.
- Renewable: The scholarship is available for every academic year of study, subject to sustained academic success.
- Eligibility Deadline: Applicants must choose the University of Sheffield as their firm or insurance choice by June 4, 2025, 4:00 pm (UK time).
Eligibility Criteria
- Students must commence their undergraduate program at the University of Sheffield in September 2025.
- The scholarship applies to all undergraduate courses, excluding Dentistry (A200) and Medicine (A100/A101).
- To renew the scholarship in subsequent years, students must achieve:
- A weighted mean grade (wmg) of 60% or above.
- A minimum of 120 credits each academic year.
- The award does not cover optional or compulsory industry placements, study abroad programs, or work placements.
Important Exclusions
- Students receiving other major scholarships, such as the GEMS International Merit Scholarship 2025 or the International Baccalaureate Undergraduate Merit Scholarship 2025, are not eligible for this award. Only the highest-value scholarship will be applied in such cases.
- Second-year entry students may qualify if they are not recipients of another scholarship.
